# Data Analyst

MARS Solutions Group

Our client has a Data Analyst opening supporting the Decision Science & Strategy team. This role is heavily focused on SQL, data processing, campaign segmentation, reporting, and Power BI, with the data ultimately supporting nonprofit fundraising campaigns. The position is hybrid with 1 2 remote days per week What They Are Looking For 3+ years of data processing, programming, and data analysis experience Strong SQL is critical must be able to write and optimize queries, validate data, and work across multiple data sources Hands-on experience with Azure, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, and Excel Experience cleaning, processing, deduplicating, and segmenting large datasets Ability to create campaign/output files that are ready to be sent to external vendors Experience building and maintaining ELT/data pipelines and integrations Strong Power BI dashboard and reporting experience Experience improving or automating manual data processes Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice To Have Python or PowerShell automation Nonprofit or fundraising experience Experience with nonprofit CRMs such as Salesforce NPSP, Raiser s Edge, or EveryAction Direct mail, digital marketing, donor segmentation, source coding, or RFM modeling experience Understanding of fundraising campaign metrics and multi-channel reporting Important: This is not just a BI/reporting position. We need candidates who are comfortable getting into the underlying data SQL, data cleansing, segmentation, deduplication, data pipelines, and producing campaign-ready output files in addition to dashboards and reporting.
