Each space reflects the building’s storied past while embracing a modern, elevated aesthetic, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and distinctly Detroit.&nbsp; Position Overview&nbsp; The Line&nbsp;Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for executing dishes with consistency, precision, and care. This role supports a smooth, efficient service by&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;strong mise&nbsp;en&nbsp;place, following established recipes and techniques, and upholding the&nbsp;high standards&nbsp;that define our kitchens. Ideal candidates are&nbsp;detail‑oriented, disciplined, and passionate about producing thoughtful,&nbsp;well‑crafted&nbsp;food.&nbsp; Key Responsibilities&nbsp; Execute menu items according to recipes, plating guides, and brand standards&nbsp; Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout service&nbsp; Assist&nbsp;with daily prep, stock rotation, and ingredient management&nbsp; Communicate clearly with the culinary team to ensure smooth service flow&nbsp; Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols&nbsp; Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative kitchen culture&nbsp; Contribute to closing duties, cleaning tasks, and equipment care&nbsp; Qualifications&nbsp; 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience preferred&nbsp; Strong knife skills and understanding of fundamental cooking techniques&nbsp; Ability to work efficiently in a&nbsp;fast‑paced,&nbsp;high‑pressure&nbsp;environment&nbsp; High level&nbsp;of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail&nbsp; Positive attitude and&nbsp;team‑oriented&nbsp;mindset&nbsp; Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays&nbsp; What We Offer&nbsp; Competitive hourly pay&nbsp; Opportunities for growth within Method Co.&nbsp; A supportive,&nbsp;design‑driven&nbsp;work environment&nbsp; Employee dining&nbsp;perks&nbsp;across our hotel and restaurant portfolio&nbsp; Health, Dental, and Vision benefits&nbsp;&nbsp; Paid time off &amp; vacation&nbsp; &nbsp; Working Conditions/Environment:&nbsp; The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day. Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
