Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting. Analyze operating expenses, financial trends, and account activity while providing meaningful reporting to management. Partner with internal departments and external service providers to gather financial information and resolve accounting matters. Support audits, compliance activities, and financial reporting requirements by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Participate in process improvement initiatives, special projects, and cross functional efforts to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of professional accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a related environment. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform detailed financial analysis, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Qualifications CPA designation or advanced degree in Accounting preferred. Previous experience with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, or financial reporting platforms. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
