Role Description The Electrician role at Workman Electric LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Denver, CO. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams, performing routine inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring all work meets local codes and safety standards. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting and corrective repairs, and collaborating with team members, contractors, and clients to plan and complete projects on schedule. The Electrician will also maintain accurate records of work performed, manage tools and materials, and follow strict safety protocols and company procedures. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles, including safe handling practices. Hands-on experience with electrical work such as wiring, installations, panel upgrades, and equipment setup. Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, including routine service and preventive maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and diagnosing faults in circuits, controls, and equipment. Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts relevant to practical field applications. Valid electrician license or journeyperson certification in Colorado, or eligibility to obtain one. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Denver building and safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation accurately. Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work independently or as part of a crew. Effective communication skills and professional conduct when interacting with clients and colleagues. Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, lifting, climbing ladders, and working in varied environments. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or apprenticeships are preferred.
