In December 2025, we announced an $81M Series B led by NVIDIA and Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Capital One Ventures, Citi Ventures, and continued support from a16z, the OpenAI Startup Fund, and Abstract Ventures • marking NVIDIA's first AI cybersecurity investment. Adaptive was founded by Brian Long and Andrew Jones, who previously co-founded Attentive ($500M+ ARR, $10B+ valuation) and TapCommerce (acquired by Twitter). Trusted by leading banks, healthcare organisations, and technology companies, Adaptive protects teams from AI-powered threats including deepfakes, smishing, and voice scams. The Role We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented operations contractor based in Los Angeles to own account provisioning during Australian business hours (8am-4pm AEDT). This is an ongoing role with no fixed end date • we're building long-term coverage, not filling a temporary gap. The role is 100% focused on account provisioning: setting up deepfake demo accounts for demos booked by our BDR and AE teams, and resolving flagged issues when they come in. What You'll Do • Own account provisioning end-to-end during your shift: setting up demo accounts for demos booked by our GTM team • Fix and resolve flagged account issues as they come in • Monitor the provisioning-issues channel during your shift and escalate appropriately • Use AI tools, including Adaptive's Claude-based asset-sourcing automation, to work efficiently • Hand off cleanly to the core hours team at the end of your shift Who You Are • Has a 4-year degree or is currently pursuing one — we care more about reliability, technical aptitude, and judgment than field of study • Extremely detail-oriented: you go above and beyond while paying meticulous attention to accuracy • Organised under pressure: you can juggle competing requests and prioritise without dropping the ball • Self-directed: comfortable working independently during your shift without constant oversight • Interested in AI: curious about AI tools and use them to make your work faster and better • Adaptable: comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment • Low ego, high reliability: you show up, do the work, and take pride in execution quality What We Offer • A key role at a company redefining cybersecurity for the AI era • Hybrid LA office (ideally 3 days/week) • A high-performance, supportive team where your contribution is visible and valued • Access to resources and mentorship to grow your skills throughout your contract
