# Senior Systems Integration Engineer

The Systems Engineer – I&amp;T leads the integration and test of complex electro‑mechanical defense systems across the full development lifecycle. This role contributes to requirements definition at all levels, develops test plans, specifies test station hardware and software, and oversees the creation and transition of new test stations and procedures to manufacturing. The engineer analyzes test data, troubleshoots issues, and supports final system sell‑off prior to customer delivery.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Responsibilities:&nbsp; Develop system tests, including identification of required hardware, software, and lab equipment&nbsp; Perform integration and testing activities, including RF Chamber testing and Field testing&nbsp; Work with subsystem teams to characterize and resolve integration / operational issues&nbsp; Work with lab equipment (e.g.&nbsp;oscilloscopes, function generators, VNAs, RF signal generators, DAQs, etc.) to characterize hardware, including&nbsp;possibly writing&nbsp;software to automate measurements and data analysis&nbsp; Contribute to requirement development,&nbsp;monitoring&nbsp;for potential integration issues between subsystems&nbsp; Capture and promote Design-for-Test best practices&nbsp; Contribute to Qualification and Acceptance test planning&nbsp; Work side-by-side with test engineers and technicians to knowledge-transfer new test procedures and debug issues&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Basic Qualifications:&nbsp; BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar field&nbsp; Minimum 5 years&nbsp;previous&nbsp;experience, preferably with experience spanning the entire product lifecycle (Concept to Delivery) OR minimum 3 years of experience with a&nbsp;Master’s&nbsp;degree&nbsp; Familiarity with Requirements and Verification Management tools, and Manufacturing Execution System tools&nbsp; Experienced in verification of system requirements&nbsp; Familiarity with electrical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.)&nbsp; US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be&nbsp;required)&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Preferred Skills and Experience:&nbsp; Familiarity with scripting languages (preferably Python and / or&nbsp;Matlab)&nbsp; Experience working with RF systems (e.g.&nbsp;radar, comms, EW, etc.), preferably including phased arrays&nbsp; Experience safely working with electrical power systems&nbsp; Experience troubleshooting embedded systems&nbsp;&nbsp; Familiarity with environmental requirements and verification (shock/vibe, humidity, temperature, sand / dust, etc.)&nbsp; Good written and oral communication skills; not afraid to speak up, either to ask for help or disagree on a technical point that&nbsp;warrants&nbsp;more discussion&nbsp; Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization&nbsp; Eager to learn and to help others on the team&nbsp; Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment&nbsp; Focused on rapidly delivering customer value&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; ITAR REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;&nbsp; To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At Epirus,&nbsp;you’ll&nbsp;work with technical peers and great people—and get first crack at some of the defining technology challenges of our time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.&nbsp;For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is: $133,300&mdash;$159,800 USD
