# SECURITY SPECIALIST

Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (Count-Unmanned Systems (C-UXS)) within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
You will review, research, analyze, and publish Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UXS) policies, directives and instructions in alignment with DOD policies, directives and instructions.
You will conduct research on UXS threats, C-UXS (kinetic and non-kinetic) operations, doctrine, and policy to inform on planning and recommendations.
You will provide analysis and technical expertise to support C-UXS protection planning and operations to identify and make recommendations regarding the mitigation of gaps in accordance with performance metrics and gap analysis.
You will ensure proper handling of and shall not disclose or discuss and classified documents unless specifically authorized to do so or required.
You will conduct intelligence, threat, and risk mitigation research and analysis.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following 1) Establishing policies and procedures to implement Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UXS) programs and strategies. 2) Conducting research and analysis to support operations planning and coordination. 3) Utilizing knowledge of Military functions and Mission sets. 4) Utilizing basic office applications and tools. 5) Formulating, assessing, and aligning AT/FP/ C-UXS polices and procedures. 6) Applying analytically rigorous methods to develop feasible, suitable, acceptable, and innovative solutions to threats.
