# Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will play an important role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Analyze financial data and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting. Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies. Support external audits and provide documentation as requested. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred. Understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with an ERP system. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Manufacturing or public company experience is a plus.
