We are currently looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join our team. The Global People & Culture Specialist will be responsible for managing the full scope of HR administrative, legal, and business partnering operations in Turkey, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. This role plays a key part in supporting the employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, benefits administration, legal documentation, and employee engagement activities, while also acting as the primary local point of contact for people-related guidance to Country Management, Line Managers, and employees within the Istanbul office. Beyond the local scope, this role also contributes to global P&C initiatives, including automation, process development, and the rollout of global programs. This is a hybrid role
• three days in the office and two days remote per week. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. HR Day-to-Day Operations Payroll Support the country payroll cycle with accurate documentation and timely submissions to Global Payroll Benefit Management Manage private health insurance enrollments, terminations, and policy tracking Administer meal card (Edenred) distributions, balance control, and order processes Oversee individual pension plan (BES) enrollment, cancellations, and maintenance Keep employees informed on benefit programs and ensure system accuracy Offboarding Prepare exit documents and ensure proper termination procedures Organize and conduct exit interviews; collect feedback Archive personnel files and execute system termination steps Submit SGK exit notifications and cancel private health insurance Vendor, Contract Management Prepare employment and confidentiality contracts in accordance with legal standards Manage employee and vendor contracts in line with labor law compliance, and support renewals of benefit and payroll vendor agreements Liaise with external legal counsel for employment contract reviews and legal document updates Local Labor Law Implementation Ensure full compliance with Turkish Labor Laws, work regulations, and Social Security requirements, including Health & Safety compliance Submit necessary employment status updates to İŞKUR and SGK Coordinate official transitions for legal entity or SGK registration changes Monitor validity of legal documents and take required actions Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and track internal agreements, job descriptions, and role changes Collect and store GDPR and other legal consent forms Prepare official HR letters (employment letters, salary confirmations, visa support letters, etc.) Handle residence and work permit (WP) applications for expatriates working in Turkey Provide documentation support for Turkish employees relocating abroad (e.g., Netherlands office relocation) Prepare official documentation for business and personal travel, including visa support 2. HRBP (Business Partner Role) BP Support Provide local labor law know-how and guidance to Country Management and Line Managers Provide day-to-day HR support to Country Management, Line Managers, and employees in Turkey Engagement & Events & Office Attendance Support Country Management with office attendance tracking Coordinate celebrations for personal milestones (birthdays, weddings, new babies, etc.) and special days Plan and execute internal events, such as company parties, MOMAC, and New Year (Edenred) gifts Draft and publish announcements and updates on internal communication platforms (e.g., Mercure) P&C Tickets Resolve all country-based P&C tickets and manage tickets for global programs under own responsibility 3. Global Programs & Projects Responsibilities Develop AI and automation projects to improve efficiency, optimizing global HR processes and supporting strategic initiatives Support global programs and initiatives, and streamline HR and People & Culture processes globally Ensure alignment between country and global processes QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles Solid understanding of Turkish Labor Law and Social Security legislation Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR is a plus) High attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Fluency in Turkish and English (written and spoken) WHAT WE OFFER Meal Allowance🍔 Private Health Insurance 🩺: We provide private health insurance from Allianz.
