# Front Desk Receptionist

Front Desk Receptionist – Medical Office We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy medical office. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of incoming calls, patient check-ins, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities . Responsibilities Answer and manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude Verify patient demographic and insurance information Collect copayments and other patient payments when applicable Check patients out and schedule follow-up appointments Maintain accurate patient records and protect patient confidentiality Communicate effectively with clinical staff, and other office personnel Respond to patient questions and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member Manage messages and follow up on patient requests as needed Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk and waiting area Assist with general administrative and clerical duties Follow all office policies and applicable patient privacy requirements Qualifications Previous medical office or healthcare front desk experience preferred Excellent telephone and customer service skills Ability to handle a high volume of calls while remaining calm, professional, and organized Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent verbal and written communication skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable learning and using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling systems Ability to work effectively as part of a team Bilingual skills are a plus What We’re Looking For The right candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, can prioritize competing demands, and understands that the front desk is the first point of contact for our patients.
