Accountant

Summary We are looking for an Accountant to work at the CaptiveAire corporate office in Raleigh. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role involves maintaining and managing financial operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Why Work for CaptiveAire? Mission: to provide the highest quality products and service to our users at the lowest possible price Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day accounts payable and cash receipts processes. Conduct month-end and year-end closures and prepare journal entries and financial statements. Coordinate and manage the annual budget process and prepare monthly budget reporting. Coordinate and manage the annual audit process. Develop and maintain appropriate and effective accounting controls. Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement process efficiencies. Qualifications BS in Accounting required. 3-5 years of work experience. Understanding of core accounting processes and ability to articulate financial results to management and stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal oversight. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel; strong spreadsheet skills. Knowledge of accounting information systems Strong organizational and communication skills. Confidentiality and integrity. Good math skills. Ability to adapt to new technologies and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Motivated with a positive attitude and a team player. This is NOT a remote role.
