At Superblast Games, we build delightful and addictive mobile puzzle games enjoyed by players around the world. We're currently expanding our team and looking for a Puzzle Game Designer who loves analyzing gameplay, crafting satisfying challenges, and shaping the player experience. 🎯 What You'll Do: Design, build, and iterate levels and mechanics for our mobile puzzle games QA new level batches before release — spotting difficulty spikes, unintended solutions, and pacing issues Use internal tools to create engaging, balanced, and scalable content Contribute ideas in mechanic ideation sessions — bring pitches, paper prototypes, and "what if" exploration to the table Work closely with developers and other designers to tune difficulty and pacing Test and refine gameplay flow based on player feedback and in-game analytics Shape how new mechanics are introduced, taught, and integrated across the game Contribute to the overall game feel and player retention strategy through design decisions ✅ You're a Great Fit If You: Love puzzle games and have played many — especially on mobile Understand what makes a puzzle fun, fair, and challenging Bring ideas, not just execution — you're someone who pitches mechanics, not just builds what's handed to you Are analytical and enjoy tweaking numbers or testing small changes Have a good sense of pacing, difficulty curves, and player psychology Communicate clearly and enjoy working on a collaborative team 🌟 Bonus Points For: Experience with Unity, level editors, or custom tools Basic scripting or logic-building skills (even visual scripting is fine) An eye for layout and visual clarity Past experience designing puzzle games or mechanics — even for your own hobby project or a jam game 🚀 Why Superblast?
