FP&A - Analyst

Position Description The FP&A Analyst supports annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across multiple departments. This role performs variance analysis, partners with cross-functional teams on planning and forecasting, and supports capital expenditure planning and budget tracking. The FP&A Analyst combines strong analytical skills with clear communication to help departments understand and manage their financial performance. Key Responsibilities Supports annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for multiple departments. Compares actual results to forecasts and budgets, identifies variances, determines root causes, and prepares monthly and quarterly reports. Partners with cross-functional teams to support annual planning and forecasting. Assists with capital expenditure planning and tracks project spending against approved budgets. Success in This Role Looks Like Delivers accurate, timely variance analysis and reporting. Identifies clear, well supported explanations for budget and forecast deviations. Builds strong working relationships with cross-functional partners across departments. Tracks capital project spending closely against approved budgets. Position Requirements This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes Holds a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration. Brings three to five years of experience in financial analysis or a related field. Applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Interacts effectively with staff at varying levels of the organization. Applies strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Demonstrates strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work. Brings accounting experience and knowledge. Communicates clearly in written and verbal formats.
