Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ applications. Build scalable software solutions that support business expansion and client requirements. Develop high-performance modules and identify bottlenecks, defects, and opportunities for optimization. Investigate technical issues and implement effective, durable solutions. Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams during requirements gathering, design, and implementation. Apply strong software development practices to improve code quality, organization, and maintainability. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and development automation initiatives. Must-Have Skills: Seven to ten or more years of hands-on experience developing applications in C++. Advanced proficiency in C++, including the language specification and Standard Template Library containers and algorithms. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles. Experience with C++ templates and dynamic polymorphism concepts. Professional experience with modern C++ standards, including C++11, C++14, C++17, or C++20. Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast networking. Understanding of unit testing, code reviews, development best practices, and automation. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience developing software for financial services or other performance-sensitive environments. Knowledge of low-latency or high-throughput application development. Exposure to multithreading, concurrency, and performance profiling in C++. Experience working directly with clients and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with continuous integration, automated testing, and source control workflows.
