Job Description OLM Food Solutions is looking for an Electrician! Major Functional Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools. Troubleshoot electrical issues regarding production equipment. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building. Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. Replaces conduit and wiring as needed. Replaces circuit breakers as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to support with facility maintenance issues beyond electrical duties Have the correct knowledge of tools and their usage. Ability to disassemble and assemble equipment. Understanding of machine specific lockout/tagout procedures. Must have a general knowledge of Hazmat policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Required Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Associate's Degree/2-Year Technical Required Work Experience: 5-7 years A minimum of 5 years of electrical maintenance experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Licenses and Certifications Required: Electrical Journeyman License (EE98J); a second related Journeyman's License; or Equivalent military experience or Completion of 60 Credit Hours Electrical. Compensation $28-35/ hour depending on experience
