Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop production software for initializing and monitoring advanced machine learning acceleration servers. • Work with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to create integrated software packages for qualification and deployment. • Design and implement software in C, C++, Python, or Lua, focusing on maintainability, reusability, and testability. • Engage with system-level technologies including accelerator chip initialization, clock and voltage setup, and device drivers. • Focus on data paths, PCIe, SPI, I2C, and accelerator internals for physical systems that execute ML algorithms. What You'll Need • 3+ years of professional software development experience. • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling. • Proficiency in at least one programming language. • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
