# Project Engineer

Overview:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tract is a team of digital infrastructure experts dedicated to accelerating responsible data center growth by developing master-planned data center parks with access to pre-positioned power and fiber in key markets where hyperscale and wholesale demand is going.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our approach is collaborative with cities and counties to ensure development is targeted for the&nbsp;optimal&nbsp;locations to maximize the revenue and economic development benefits for the community while being good stewards of the land and minimizing the impact on neighbors.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tract is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with real estate holdings throughout the United States.&nbsp; As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled&nbsp;Project Engineer&nbsp;who&nbsp;possesses&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in&nbsp;supporting&nbsp;large-scale civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will join our growing team and&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;successful developments throughout the United States.&nbsp;The ideal candidate will have&nbsp;3+&nbsp;years of post-education experience in the&nbsp;management of&nbsp;design, engineering, and construction&nbsp;of commercial/industrial land development projects.&nbsp; Position Overview:&nbsp; Qualified candidates will&nbsp;assist&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;planning,&nbsp;design&nbsp;and development of projects to&nbsp;comply with&nbsp;local and industry standards,&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;and specifications.&nbsp;Additional&nbsp;tasks may include but are not limited to:&nbsp; Support&nbsp;the design and development of projects, including site layout, grading, road design, stormwater management, wet and dry utility&nbsp;layouts&nbsp;and other related aspects.&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage tasks throughout the construction process, inclusive of safety reporting, submittals, RFIs, change orders, design reviews, permitting, and general activities&nbsp;required&nbsp;to support development&nbsp; Coordinate internal alignment on project document reviews, cost optimization exercises, contract&nbsp;issuances&nbsp;and design modifications&nbsp; Assist&nbsp;construction manager in reviewing monthly invoices and preparing monthly financial updates and forecasts&nbsp; Manage and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;internal project file storage&nbsp; Administer project closeout requirements and turnover documentation&nbsp; Perform constructability reviews for infrastructure projects being recommended during&nbsp;due&nbsp;diligence&nbsp;phase.&nbsp; Work with contractors to develop and implement&nbsp;appropriate quality&nbsp;and safety plans&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;local regulations.&nbsp; Preparation of requests for proposals&nbsp;and associated contract issuance&nbsp; Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams&nbsp; Coordinate with&nbsp;Authorities Having Jurisdiction&nbsp;to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;and obtain necessary permits. Manage contract scope, schedule, and budget of design consultants and contractors to ensure&nbsp;permit&nbsp;approvals.&nbsp; Basic&nbsp;Qualifications:&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or&nbsp;an equivalent&nbsp;engineering science OR&nbsp;5+ years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degree.&nbsp; 3+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, RFI/submittal tracking)&nbsp;on multiple large projects&nbsp;associated with construction and project execution.&nbsp; 1+ years of managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects,&nbsp;including site development, grading,&nbsp;drainage&nbsp;and utilities.&nbsp; Proficient working knowledge of P6, MS Suite, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and other construction management&nbsp;softwares&nbsp; Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp; Preferred background in data center construction&nbsp; Strong knowledge of engineering and construction&nbsp;practices&nbsp;for&nbsp;major site utilities infrastructure (electrical, water, fiber,&nbsp;etc)&nbsp; Required Traits and Skills:&nbsp; Responsible, ethical, and collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude, pride in work product, and appreciation of the value of communicating,&nbsp;brainstorming&nbsp;and sharing information&nbsp; Passionate&nbsp;about the data center industry and keeping up with current industry trends&nbsp; Enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys widely varied challenges&nbsp; Self-starter who can take the lead on complex projects, work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines, and work with minimal supervision&nbsp; Detail oriented to support data-driven analysis and decision-making&nbsp; Strong written communication skills including internal reports / memos and verbal communication skills including presentations to senior leaders and board members&nbsp; Eagerness to be a part of building something unique, special, and valuable in a dynamic environment with a top-notch team&nbsp; Expected Salary Range:&nbsp;&nbsp;$100,000-$120,000 plus Bonus&nbsp; Tract Employment Tract employees enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits,&nbsp;including 100% employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K&nbsp;program, standard paid holidays, and unlimited PTO.
