Qualifications Job Responsibilities: Bachelor degree in a computer/technology related field Min 10 years of experience as a system admin within a manufacturing company Minimum 2 years of Management and or Leadership experience Experience with automotive EDI systems and customer integrations (Especially Ford) Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills to work with users at various levels within the company Must be able to express technical idiom in a non-ambiguous manner Cloud experience preferably Azure Fluent in English, German knowledge will be an asset Living to Kocaeli or willing to relocate to Kocaeli Job Description Ensure reliable and efficient operation of the local technology infrastructure supporting business and production. Create and maintain highly available IT and OT services based on plant and production requirements. Select hardware, software, and technology solutions for the plant in accordance with Magna guidelines and approved standards. Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure and coordinate the lifecycle of relevant OT infrastructure and platforms. Coordinate implementation, installation, support, and controlled change of technology solutions. Ensure data backup, recovery, and data protection requirements are addressed for applicable systems. Document relevant responsibilities, systems, decisions, risks, and controls according to existing guidelines. Ensure applicable quality targets and Quality Management System requirements are met. Plan and organize user and team training for utilized technology solutions. Maintain customer and stakeholder contacts required for electronic data transfer and technology services. Coordinate technology-related capacity, resource, and cost reporting. Manage local IT and OT projects, priorities, dependencies, risks, and escalations. Own and continuously improve the local Technology management process. Ensure compliance with all EHS rules and procedures and participate in risk evaluations for subordinate positions. Operational Technology (OT) Responsibilities: Lead IT and OT people as one local Technology team, with common priorities, transparent ownership, and aligned escalation paths. Oversee local OT activities, services, and projects from a leadership and governance perspective, using OT specialists and subject-matter experts for technical depth. Connect production and business requirements with IT standards, OT requirements, and approved technology roadmaps. Ensure OT topics are included in plant technology planning, budgeting, resource allocation, lifecycle management, and investment prioritization. Establish clear accountability for OT systems, infrastructure, support, changes, documentation, and escalation. Support secure, reliable, and available production technology, including appropriate business-continuity, backup, recovery, and incident-response considerations. Promote compliance with Magna policies, standards, governance requirements, and applicable legal, customer, quality, and industry requirements for OT. Ensure cybersecurity and risk considerations are integrated into OT decisions and coordinate mitigation and escalation with the appropriate specialists and Group functions. Coordinate OT incidents and major production-technology issues, ensuring business impact, priorities, ownership, communication, and escalation are transparent. Enable digitalization, Industry 4.0, MES, data, connectivity, and shop-floor technology initiatives in collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, IT, OT specialists, and other stakeholders. Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, inclusion, and development across IT and OT disciplines; ensure OT colleagues are fully integrated into team communication and development discussions. Use Group Office support, approved suppliers, and the OT subject-matter-expert network where specialist expertise is required. The Technology Manager is not expected to perform PLC programming, machine-control engineering, or specialist OT troubleshooting personally.
