Rockford drivers: OTR miles that keep you within 2 days of home. Nothing west of Denver, no New England, no New York. You get big weekly miles without being sent everywhere. Recent CDL grads are hired and trained. What You Earn Paid every week during training $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo $1,200 to $1,800 a week once solo 2,000 to 2,800 miles a week $15 per stop except the first and last Weekly direct deposit Your week OTR lanes east of Denver, mix of drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Out about two weeks, then home. Day and night dispatch. From CDL school to your own truck A recruiter calls you and reviews your CDL and driving record with you. Orientation, 2 days at most. Hotel paid, one-way bus ticket reimbursed, $300 for orientation once hired. 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor: backing, trip planning, logs and fueling. You are paid every week. Your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average, automatic or 10-speed. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.
