Job Summary We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Financial Controlling Manager to oversee the accounting, financial controlling, and reporting processes across our group companies. The Financial Controlling Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control processes. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis, and drives process improvements across the organization's financial operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis between actual and budgeted results. Conduct profitability analysis across business units, products, or projects to support strategic decision-making. Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the impact of key variables on financial outcomes. Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior management. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Support month-end and year-end closing processes in coordination with the accounting team. Support the CFO in developing and maintaining financial models to support business planning and investment decisions. Identify risks and opportunities in financial performance and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets and monitor spending. Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools. Supervise and mentor junior controlling and finance staff. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA preferred). Approximately 10 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or related roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting standards. Proven experience in profitability analysis and sensitivity/scenario modeling. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Leadership experience and the ability to work cross-functionally. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of hedge accounting principles and practical application. Familiarity with IFRS 7 (Financial Instruments: Disclosures). Experience in a multinational or matrix organization. Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Project management experience related to financial systems implementation.
