Behavioral Health Specialist (P/T 3P-11P)

Identifies and understands symptoms of psychiatric illness. Plans and provides activities and support groups for patients conducive to recovery. Encourages patient responsibility in social, recreational, and leisure activities in a safe, clean, controlled environment. Provides support in the care of unstable, potentially violent psychiatric patients. Also assists the health care team, serves an patient advocate, and maintains a safe, clean and orderly working environment. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field and one year experience working in a Psychiatric Unit.
