# Staff - Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Role: Provides specialized nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans, assesses patient conditions, coordinates multidisciplinary care, and documents care activities. Acts as primary coordinator for patient care, ensuring communication and continuity among healthcare team members. Conducts comprehensive assessments, identifies problems, sets goals, and develops individualized care plans. Implements treatments, administers medications, educates patients and families, and evaluates patient responses to care. Manages discharge planning and ensures patient safety and quality care during hospitalization. Key duties include: Data collection, problem identification, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and effective care coordination to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a valid Arizona Nursing License or eligible for licensure within 30 days. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), ACLS, PALS, NRP, or similar certifications. Key Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
