THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1660000 and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.
As an INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-11, you will perform specialized duties and train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with operational intelligence. Provide detailed intelligence analysis for mission planning, aircrew briefings and debriefings. Trainer and task certifier for intelligence systems, order of battle maintenance, mission planning, threat analysis, and GI&S support. Perform complex intelligence analysis of all pertinent threat weapons systems and geopolitical conditions that could impact the unit's mission success. This position requires a comprehensive working knowledge of intelligence support operations, procedures, and practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements. Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK
Military Grades: E-5 through E-7 Compatible Military Assignments: 1NO71 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year experience, education or training equivalent to the next lower level, in developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports.
