This role is focused on diagnosing,&nbsp;validating, and driving resolution of complex software-related customer issues across vehicle systems, connected services, ADAS, infotainment, user interfaces, diagnostics, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.&nbsp; This individual will play a critical role in connecting real-world customer experiences with engineering solutions, ensuring software issues are prioritized, resolved, and&nbsp;prevented from&nbsp;recurring.&nbsp; Success in this role means improving vehicle software quality, reliability, customer satisfaction, and OTA deployment success by ensuring field software issues are rapidly&nbsp;identified, accurately diagnosed, and effectively resolved.&nbsp; What&nbsp;You’ll&nbsp;Own&nbsp; Software Issue Investigation &amp; Validation&nbsp; Investigate complex software-related customer concerns across vehicle domains.&nbsp; Analyze logs, diagnostic data, telemetry, and field reports to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;software failure modes.&nbsp; Reproduce software defects and&nbsp;validate&nbsp;issue conditions in collaboration with engineering teams.&nbsp; Support investigation of intermittent and difficult-to-reproduce software issues.&nbsp; Cross-Functional Technical Interface&nbsp; Work closely with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, ADAS, Validation, Service Engineering, Diagnostics, and Product teams.&nbsp; Translate customer complaints and field observations into actionable technical problem statements.&nbsp; Provide field-driven prioritization input for software quality improvements.&nbsp; OTA &amp; Release Quality Monitoring&nbsp; Monitor field performance of software releases and OTA deployments.&nbsp; Identify&nbsp;emerging risks following software launches and major feature updates.&nbsp; Validate effectiveness of software fixes after deployment.&nbsp; Support release readiness reviews and risk assessments.&nbsp; Data Analytics &amp; Field Insights&nbsp; Analyze warranty claims, service repair data, telematics information, customer feedback, and software diagnostics.&nbsp; Identify&nbsp;recurring failure signatures and software-related customer pain points.&nbsp; Quantify customer impact and prioritize quality actions based on risk and frequency.&nbsp; Issue Management &amp; Escalation&nbsp; Manage software-related field issues through the complete lifecycle from detection to closure.&nbsp; Support executive quality reviews by providing technical assessments and field impact analysis.&nbsp; Track issue progression across software versions, vehicle programs, and system architectures.&nbsp; Root Cause Analysis &amp; Corrective Actions&nbsp; Partner with engineering teams to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;root causes and&nbsp;validate&nbsp;corrective actions.&nbsp; Differentiate between software defects, integration issues, calibration concerns, and hardware-software interaction problems.&nbsp; Verify effectiveness of corrective actions through field monitoring and validation activities.&nbsp; Customer Experience Improvement&nbsp; Drive reduction in repeat service visits related to software behavior.&nbsp; Improve customer experience through better issue detection, diagnostics, and recovery strategies.&nbsp; Support continuous improvement of software quality metrics and field performance.&nbsp; What You Bring&nbsp; Required&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or&nbsp;a related field.&nbsp; 6+ years of experience in automotive software quality, systems engineering, diagnostics, validation, field quality, or software development.&nbsp; Strong understanding of vehicle software architectures, diagnostics, and system interactions.&nbsp; Experience analyzing logs, telemetry, diagnostic traces, and software performance data.&nbsp; Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.&nbsp; Ability to work effectively across multiple technical organizations.&nbsp; Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.&nbsp; Ability to read, write, speakl, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications. Preferred&nbsp; Experience with automotive software development lifecycle and release management.&nbsp; Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, vehicle networks, diagnostics, and OTA systems.&nbsp; Experience with ADAS, infotainment, connectivity, or digital vehicle platforms.&nbsp; Experience supporting launch programs and software quality initiatives.&nbsp; Work Requirement&nbsp; This role requires close collaboration with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, ADAS, Validation, Service Engineering, Diagnostics, Product, and Field Quality teams. Hands-on vehicle investigation and validation activities are&nbsp;required.
