Driver (CDL Class A)

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team. The Driver is responsible for transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently between jobsites, warehouses, and designated locations. This role requires operating commercial vehicles, including dump trucks and box trucks, while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. The ideal candidate has commercial driving experience, strong knowledge of transportation safety requirements, and a commitment to providing reliable service. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including dump trucks and box trucks. Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation. Follow all DOT regulations and company policies. Plan and navigate efficient delivery routes using GPS and route planning tools. Coordinate loading and unloading activities with warehouse and field personnel. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. QualificationsRequired Valid CDL Class A License. Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements. Experience operating commercial vehicles, including dump trucks and/or box trucks. Ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation. Ability to lift, load, and unload materials as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills. Clean driving record. Preferred Construction industry experience. Hazmat, Tanker, or other CDL endorsements. Experience with transportation management software. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs. Experience with local and regional deliveries. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, drive, and operate commercial vehicles for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as needed. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles throughout the workday. Why Join Us?
