Registration Specialist, Crop Protection

We are currently looking for a Registration Specialist to join our Regulatory Affairs team in Turkey. Main Objective / Purpose of Job Registration and preparation of applications for approval of crop protection chemicals. Help regulatory manager/team to identify the roles and obligations of companies in accordance with legislation. Provides registration expertise for plant protection products (actives and formulations) and other applicable regulations (such as SDS, GHS/CLP, REACH) in Turkey. Establishes registration needs and compiles registration packages/dossiers for local submissions. Provides intelligence and evaluation of developments in regulatory, legislative and secondary approvals to the Regional Regulatory Manager and other interested stakeholders. Prime contact point and negotiator with regulatory manager and relevant regulatory constructers/agencies for obtaining approvals. Role & Key Responsibilities Dossier preparation, submission and follow-up of all regulatory files. Submission of registration import permit and additional source applications within prescribed timelines. Confirm and seek clarity on registration requirements with concerned authorities. Maintain records of registration, renewal and additional source application outcome on company databases Support to assemble and formats data for regulatory submission dossier / packages. Support to create application forms for registration Takes care /follow up of submission Support Regulatory Manager for registration and re-registration needs, actively using the departmental tools and data management systems to maintain existing registration. Summarizes efficacy data for registration purposes Manage notarization and legalization of regulatory documents, regulatory agreements (monitor official approval route) Manage registration tracking & expenses table Prepares and check the regulatory part of the requested labels Updates Regulatory data bases Proven capability to work within the following regulatory areas: Turkey REACH (KKDIK) and other REACH-like regulations, Hazard Communication and emerging regulation identification. Qualifications / Education /Experience Key requirements / Candidate profile: Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Agricultural Sciences Preferred: Degree (BSc or MSc) on Plant Protection Minimum of 3 years of working experience in similar role In-depth knowledge of the relevant rules, regulations and guidelines of the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture Registration Application/Renewal Procedures Fluency in English language (verbal & written) are essential. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (e.g. MS Office,) Ability to operate independently and to take the initiative in accomplishing job responsibilities Expected to understand Food Chain problems, such as MRLs, Organic Farming, Good Agricultural Practices. Ability to work alone under stressed conditions, as well as interact with country team and regulatory department. Should have no restrictions to travel within the assigned geography, when necessary. Fast learner with a good communication and analytical skills to bring complex technical and regulation arguments to wide and diverse internal and external audiences.
