# Bus/Runner - The Buffet

The Bus/Runner is responsible for supporting the dining room and culinary teams by delivering food promptly and accurately, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, and ensuring guests receive exceptional, Forbes Five-Star service. This position plays a key role in creating a seamless dining experience by assisting servers, resetting tables efficiently, and upholding the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality at The Buffet. Essential Job Responsibilities Assist servers with guest requests, table maintenance, and overall dining room support. Clear, clean, and reset tables in a timely manner while maintaining a polished dining environment. Refill beverages, bread, condiments, and other guest amenities as directed. Maintain station cleanliness, including side stations, service areas, and guest-facing spaces. Ensure all table settings meet departmental presentation standards. Assist in transporting dishes, glassware, linens, and supplies throughout the restaurant. Monitor buffet areas and communicate replenishment needs to culinary and management teams. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and buffet stations to assist guests when needed. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries while providing exceptional hospitality. Support compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling requirements. Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, culinary staff, and management to ensure efficient operations. Follow all Wynn Resorts policies, procedures, and Forbes Five-Star service standards. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age or older. Previous restaurant, food and beverage, hospitality, bus person, food runner, or guest service experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to provide warm, professional, and personalized guest service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Must possess and maintain all required work cards and certifications, including a valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card. Desired Qualifications Experience in luxury hospitality or high-volume restaurant operations. Understanding of Forbes Five-Star service standards. Ability to anticipate guest and operational needs proactively. Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Wynn Las Vegas standards. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
