General Production Worker

Application Deadline: 30 October 2026 Department: Production Employment Type: Full Time Location: Sheboygan, WI Compensation: $19.05 - $20.50 / hour Description Primary responsibility is to assist production by packaging materials and products manually. Key Responsibilities Cleans packaging containers. Lines and pads crate and assemble cartons. Obtains and sorts product. Wraps protective material around product. Starts, stops and regulates speed of conveyor. Inserts or pours product into containers or fills containers from spout or chute. Weighs containers and adjusts quantity. Nails, glues or closes and seals containers. Labels containers, container tags or products. Sorts bundles or fills containers. Packs special arrangements or selection of product. Inspects material, products and containers at each step of packaging process. Records information such as weight, time and date packaged. Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials or products. Performs computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing or foam fabrication environment is a plus. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine functions. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and blueprints. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, and machine settings in English. Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) is a plus for effective communication on a diverse team.
