Local Class A CDL Truck Driver

Role Overview: This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor trailer to customers, ensuring proper delivery, unloading, and adherence to safety and food quality standards. Key Responsibilities Unload products manually or using carts, following customer specifications and safety protocols. Complete all required paperwork, including logs, inspections, and invoices, accurately and promptly. Maintain food safety standards and sanitary conditions in vehicles and storage areas. Build positive customer relationships through courteous service and effective communication. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability required. Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard guidelines. Ability to operate large vehicles in various conditions, communicate effectively, and perform basic math. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and handle loading/unloading tasks. Work Environment & Physical Demands: The role involves exposure to weather conditions, mechanical parts, and occasional confined spaces, requiring alertness and physical stamina. The work may include overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
