We are construction professionals specializing in commercial foodservice equipment and installation projects. This position may be office-based in the Charlotte, NC area or remote within our NC office territory . For remote candidates, South Carolina and Georgia are preferred locations, with the greater Atlanta area being of particular interest as we continue to support and expand our project coverage throughout the Southeast. Remote candidates must reside within reasonable travel distance of their assigned project territory. Project Managers are responsible for managing, controlling, tracking, and coordinating all aspects of commercial kitchen projects from submittals through procurement, installation, and project closeout. www.11400inc.com Our Project Managers oversee multiple active projects simultaneously throughout our territory, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia . Salary is based on experience. Responsibilities Successfully manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and commitments. Maintain timely and effective communication with general contractors, design teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project team members. Organize, review, and manage construction documents, equipment submittals, shop drawings, and project correspondence. Track project schedules, procurement requirements, change orders, RFIs, ASIs, and other project-related documentation. Review project requirements and proactively identify coordination issues before they impact fabrication, delivery, or installation. Visit project sites and attend construction meetings as necessary. Oversee equipment procurement, fabrication, and delivery schedules. Coordinate equipment installation with general contractors, subcontractors, and associated trades. Assist with field coordination, installation readiness, punch list completion, and project closeout. Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively communicate issues, risks, and required decisions. Look for opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. Physical Requirements Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching. Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs. Remote Work Qualifications Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks. Access to a home router and modem. A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible). A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment. The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc. Legal residents of one of the following states: (CT, DE, FL, GA, MD, NC, PA, SC, VA, or WV). H-1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only. Experience Analytical and detail oriented, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced team environment. Self motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Willing and able to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory. Demonstrates leadership characteristics and sound decision making skills. Possesses strong problem solving skills and natural mechanical aptitude. Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills. Comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documents. Desired Traits & Skills Prior experience in commercial construction, architecture, engineering, or design is preferred. Experience with commercial foodservice equipment is not required.
