JOB DUTIES JOB QUALIFICATIONS Description As the Health Services Business Data Analyst, you will support quality, operational, and process improvement initiatives by transforming healthcare data into accurate, timely, and actionable reporting. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to develop analyses and reporting solutions that inform decisions and improve performance. You will: Design, develop, validate, document, and maintain ad hoc and recurring analyses, including those that evolve into complex data integration and business intelligence solutions. Interpret business and technical requirements to develop data queries and specifications. Analyze encounter, claims, membership, provider, pharmacy, and quality measure data. Partner with Information Systems, Health Outcomes and Analysis, pharmacy, quality, and other stakeholders to support internal and external reporting. Support data governance, testing, issue resolution, and the transition of stable reporting processes into production. Serve as a departmental resource for business intelligence applications. Support healthcare measures and benchmarks used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, California Department of Health Care Services, National Committee for Quality Assurance, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other recognized organizations.
