Job Summary And Qualifications Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. You will provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries You will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting You will participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities. Completes required competencies within the defined time frames You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and TNCC ENPC; TCAR; PCAR-Trauma Resus Team) within 1 year of hire for Adult ED CEN preferred Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience in the Emergency Department required Current acute clinical care experience in emergency medicine within the past 5 years preferred Two years hospital emergency medicine experience within the past 5 years preferred Must meet clinical standards specific to the assigned patient care area (specialty unit employees for areas such as Emergency Room or ICU) Benefits Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
