You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. • 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, transit yards, buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable requirements. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, and complete accurate activity, incident, and shift reports. Minimum Requirements Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License. An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
