As Deloitte Turkey Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) team, we have a broad range of advisory services which includes Valuation & Modelling, M&A Transaction Services, Strategy & Business Design, Corporate Finance Advisory, and Forensic. We offer client-specific, value-added services based on our clients’ needs for well-designed and efficiently executed transactions. The Valuation & Modelling Team within Deloitte SR&T practice provide advice on all aspects of valuing assets. The type of asset can range from companies, divisions of companies, intellectual property and intangible assets (for example brands or customer relationships) and other income generating assets. Projects transpire wherever there is a question of value, but can broadly be grouped as follows: M&A and investment analysis Tax, transfer pricing, financial and regulatory reporting, including fund valuations Intellectual property and intangible assets Litigation, expert determination and disputes Reorganisation, turnaround and recapitalisation The Modelling Team assists clients navigate complex issues and transactions by delivering tailored, fit-for-purpose, integrated, logically structured modelling solutions. Models are developed mainly for the following business situations: Infrastructure projects including feasibilities for banks and regulators and tariff pricing M&A, joint ventures and divestitures Financial planning including business case preparation and analysis Reorganizations, restructures and operational improvements Capital raisings and refinancing We are seeking Associates and Senior Associates to join the Valuation & Modelling practice. Qualifications Required: 1 • 3 years of experience with business enterprise and intangible asset valuation Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field Enthusiasm for and ideally, previous exposure to Valuations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Exceptional analytical, oral and written communication skills with a robust attention for detail Excellent command of English, both written and spoken Ability to take complex analysis and to present and communicate it in a concise and clear manner Show initiative to learn, ask questions and accomplish delegated tasks accurately Client focus, with ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships Logical and methodical approach to problem solving Residency in İstanbul & flexibility with the potential travel requirements of client service engagements Uses company’s financial information to better understand a client/target's business to support recommendations Lives our values and challenges others to do the same Preferred: CFA or ASA credential or candidacy Experience in a big 4 professional services firm A strong finance background Master's degree in Finance
