# Staff Accountant

High Country Search Group

GL Accountant | $70K–$80K | DTC/Greenwood Village We are partnering with a growing organization in the DTC/Greenwood Village area that is looking to add a GL Accountant to its accounting team. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to work across several areas of accounting while joining a collaborative, growing organization. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Manage general ledger activity, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Complete account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Review invoices and purchase orders for accuracy using technology-driven tools
• Assist with customer orders, invoicing, and related accounting transactions
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies
• Review financial data to identify errors or incomplete information
• Assist with rebate calculations, tracking, and accounting
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding account activity
• Partner with other departments on accounting-related projects and needs What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a smaller, fast-paced environment Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 Location: DTC/Greenwood Village, CO Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite Monday–Thursday with Friday remote
