Commercial Operations Specialist – Service & Order Management Location: Casper, Wyoming, USA Work arrangement: On-site / Service Center-based Experience: 3+ years Salary: Competitive; based on qualifications and experience About the role An industrial services organisation is seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to manage the end-to-end coordination and execution of service, repair and non-routine customer orders. This role acts as a key operational link between customers, sales, repair operations, engineering, supply chain and finance. The successful candidate will coordinate order workflows, resolve commercial and operational issues, manage customer commitments and ensure accurate execution throughout the service lifecycle. Key responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for customers and sales representatives regarding service requests, repair orders, quotations, order status and delivery commitments. Coordinate workflows across Sales, Repair Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain. Resolve material availability, scheduling, documentation and order discrepancies. Monitor demand and proactively manage material requirements to support customer orders. Review pricing queries and reconcile quotations using historical information and commercial judgement. Support invoice processing and resolve billing discrepancies. Coordinate accounts receivable, accounts payable and other operational finance matters. Maintain accurate ERP data, order records and execution documentation. Ensure compliance with internal systems and order management processes throughout the order lifecycle. Balance customer requirements with operational capabilities and business objectives. Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in service or repair coordination, customer service, commercial support or a similar operational role. Proficiency with ERP systems. Strong understanding of order management processes. Knowledge of repair operations, including workflow coordination, pricing and scheduling. Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve operational issues effectively. Good commercial judgement and attention to detail.
