# Java Application Developer

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices . This is a highly hands-on development role requiring daily coding, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications. Develop and support Microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot. Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns. Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and technical decision-making. Develop and optimize database queries, procedures, and data models. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment. Create technical documentation and perform code reviews. Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices. Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and reliability. Required Technical Skills Core Technologies Core Java (Java 8/11/17) Spring Framework Spring Boot Microservices Architecture RESTful Web Services SOAP & JMS JSON and XML Processing Apache Tomcat Swagger / OpenAPI Database SQL JDBC Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server Java Fundamentals Multithreading & Concurrency Collections Framework Exception Handling File I/O OOP & OOD Principles GOF Design Patterns DevOps & Containerization Docker Kubernetes CI/CD Pipelines Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps Operating Systems & Scripting Linux/Unix Windows Shell Scripting / Bash Batch Programming Version Control Git Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms. Experience with Hibernate/JPA. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience building highly available and scalable applications. Knowledge of security concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, and API security. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or large-scale enterprise application experience is a plus. Required Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ownership and accountability.
