Full Desk Recruiter - Engineering

ROLE OVERVIEW Specialized Recruiting Group – Edina is looking for a Full Desk Engineering Recruiter to join our team. You’ll own both sides of the recruiting process — building relationships with engineering and manufacturing companies while sourcing, recruiting, and placing engineering professionals. This is a true full-desk role that combines business development, client relationship management, and recruiting. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your own client relationships, candidate network, and book of business while having the training, tools, and resources of the broader Specialized Recruiting Group and Express Employment Professionals network behind you. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own a full recruiting desk, including both business development and recruiting Prospect and develop new client relationships Build relationships with engineering and manufacturing leaders and hiring managers Learn your market and identify new business opportunities Source and recruit engineering professionals, including passive candidates Interview and assess candidates to understand their experience, goals, and fit Match qualified candidates with the right opportunities Manage client and candidate relationships throughout the hiring process Negotiate and help close offers Build a long-term network and book of business within your market WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, engineering, or another relationship-driven field Recruiting or staffing experience is preferred, but not required Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to prospect, network, and build lasting client relationships Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in connecting with both clients and candidates Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work toward individual goals and performance expectations Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple clients, candidates, searches, and priorities simultaneously Curious and coachable, with an interest in learning the engineering and manufacturing market and becoming a trusted resource to clients and candidates Comfortable using recruiting technology and tools, including applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, LinkedIn, job boards, and other sourcing tools POSITION DETAILS Location: Edina, MN Schedule: Full-time, on-site Monday-Friday Compensation: $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission | First-year OTE: ~$100,000 ABOUT SPECIALIZED RECRUITING GROUP Specialized Recruiting Group – Edina is the professional and executive recruiting division of Express Employment Professionals.
