OBSS is looking for a Senior Java Developer with expertise in payment systems to lead high-impact projects in the financial services industry. In this role, you will design and develop scalable applications, ensure best practices in coding, and mentor teams while working on mission-critical solutions. Main Responsibilities Design and develop complex program documentation, including structure, behavior, interaction diagrams, system flowcharts, and test/conversion plans. Review development and coding of Java programs and ensure proper documentation across all information systems projects. Conduct post-implementation reviews to verify that system and cost objectives are met. Recommend and implement new procedures and techniques to enhance supported systems. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including external vendors and management. Lead medium-to-large technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Qualifications / Technical Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, or a related field. 4–10 years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, JSP; experience with REST/SOAP web services preferred. Proficiency with tools such as IntelliJ, Jenkins, Sonar, Git, and Maven. Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, SQL Developer, ODI, Splunk, Kafka, RabbitMQ. Solid back-end development experience and strong knowledge of microservices architecture. Excellent understanding of design patterns and object-oriented development. Advanced SQL and JavaScript skills; expertise in HTML/CSS (responsive layouts). Strong communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and a high-energy mindset. Residence in Turkey is required. Ability to approach AI with curiosity and intention, actively incorporating AI-powered tools into workflows to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
