This is an active position in a busy salon. We need someone who moves with urgency, learns quickly, notices small details, remembers important information, and communicates clearly with the Manager and salon team. The right person has a “make someone’s day” attitude and looks for thoughtful ways to make every guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 • Welcome and acknowledge every guest promptly • Answer phone calls professionally • Book appointments accurately using our touchscreen POS system • Respond to appointment requests received through Instagram • Confirm each guest’s name, phone number, existing nail product, requested service, date, and time • Check in appointments and walk in guests • Track who is waiting, what services they need, and who arrived first • Watch upcoming appointments and communicate important information to the Manager • Help guests find the correct polish, gel, chrome, or cat eye color options • Seat guests promptly when appropriate • Ask the Manager for direction when the salon is busy, stations are limited, or an area has not been cleaned • Keep the front desk, waiting area, guest seating, manicure tables, pedicure chairs, and surrounding floor clean and presentable • Follow salon procedures and ask questions instead of guessing • Protect guest privacy and internal salon information 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 • Moves promptly and works with a sense of urgency • Stays focused and engaged throughout the shift • Notices guests, waiting areas, upcoming appointments, unclean stations, and anything requiring attention • Remembers important details and communicates them accurately • Handles the touchscreen POS system, phone, and Instagram efficiently • Maintains a welcoming and uplifting attitude • Looks for small opportunities to make someone’s day • Accepts training, feedback, and corrections professionally • Works well with the Manager, technicians, and other teammates • Remains calm and professional during busy periods • Is trustworthy, dependable, punctual, and responsible 𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 • Remain active and attentive throughout a 10 hour shift • Move promptly between the front desk, waiting area, and salon floor • Stand and walk for extended periods • Use a touchscreen POS system, phone, tablet, and Instagram • Observe the salon environment and respond promptly when assistance is needed • Perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodation 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 • Arrive clean, presentable, and ready to work • Wear a clean black shirt or blouse • Communicate respectfully with guests, technicians, managers, and teammates • Personal earbuds or headphones may not be worn while working unless approved as a reasonable accommodation • Personal phone use must not interfere with guest service or work responsibilities • Employees must report to work fit for duty and may not work while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, or another substance • Maintain guest confidentiality and protect internal salon information 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 Previous customer service experience is preferred. Experience as a restaurant server, host, receptionist, retail associate, or customer service employee in a busy, high traffic environment is especially valuable. Nail salon experience is helpful but not required. Additional language abilities are a plus. 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗬 A current résumé is required.
