BUILDING SERVICES TECHNICIAN Pay: $21.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Seven Hills Rhode Island Seven Hills Rhode Island is seeking a Building Services Technician to help maintain safe, functional, and well-kept facilities and grounds throughout the region. This position performs general and preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep while assisting licensed tradespeople when needed. The Building Services Technician plays an important role in maintaining the safety, integrity, and quality of agency properties and supporting the individuals we serve. Complete carpentry projects, including repairs to drywall, doors, windows, flooring, ceilings, furniture, fencing, and other structures. Perform minor electrical repairs and maintenance within the scope permitted by law. Assist with basic plumbing, HVAC, concrete, stonework, painting, and other facility repairs. Inspect and address maintenance issues and work orders according to priority and required timelines. Follow manufacturer instructions, maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and applicable building codes. Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed. Remove snow, ice, water, debris, and other hazards from agency properties as required. Help maintain and coordinate routine maintenance of company vehicles. Respond appropriately to safety hazards and emergencies. Maintain clean, orderly, safe, and well-maintained facilities and grounds. Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping the Facility Manager informed of activities, issues, and concerns. Assist licensed tradespeople with projects and repairs when necessary. Participate in meetings, training, and in-services as required. Perform other duties as assigned
