Corporate Finance and Treasury Manager

Our client is one of the leading energy companies. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field, Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking or a similar finance function, Mandatory: Proven professional experience in the Energy Sector, Strong experience in treasury management, liquidity planning and corporate financing . Strong knowledge of project finance and energy project financing structures, Experience in financing energy investments, infrastructure projects or large-scale CAPEX projects, Proven experience in managing banking relationships and negotiating financing facilities, Strong understanding of FX, interest rate and financial market risks, Advanced financial modelling and investment analysis skills, Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP and Treasury Management Systems is an advantage, Excellent command of written and spoken English, Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Treasury Management Manage daily treasury operations, cash management and liquidity planning, Prepare and monitor short-, medium- and long-term cash flow forecasts, Optimize liquidity and working capital across the business, Manage banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities, financing terms and banking products, Monitor foreign exchange and interest rate exposures and develop appropriate risk management strategies, Manage payment flows, bank balances, guarantees, letters of credit and other banking instruments, Ensure efficient utilization of available cash and financing facilities. Corporate Finance & Financing Lead corporate financing activities, including project finance, investment loans, working capital facilities, leasing and other funding solutions, Evaluate alternative financing structures and provide recommendations to senior management, Support the financing of energy projects, CAPEX investments and strategic initiatives, Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, investors and other financing partners, Monitor loan agreements, repayment schedules, financial covenants and other financing obligations, Support capital structure optimization and long-term financing strategy. Energy Sector Finance Develop financial analyses and models for energy investments and projects, Evaluate project profitability, funding requirements, cash generation and return on investment, Analyze project-related financing structures and financial risks, Support investment decisions through financial modelling, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis, Monitor key financial indicators related to energy projects, including CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow and financing costs, Work closely with project development, investment and commercial teams on the financial aspects of new projects. Financial Risk Management Identify and monitor liquidity, FX, interest rate and financing risks, Develop appropriate mitigation strategies in coordination with senior management, Monitor financing costs and optimize the company’s funding structure, Ensure compliance with financing agreements and financial covenants, Establish and continuously improve treasury policies, procedures and internal controls. Reporting & Stakeholder Management Prepare regular treasury, financing and corporate finance reports for the CFO and senior management, Present financial analyses, funding proposals and investment evaluations to management, Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions and other financial partners, Work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Procurement and Project Development teams, Coordinate cross-functional financing and investment projects.
