Stakeholder Engagement Regional Analyst (Europe, East Europe and Central Asia)

Job Summary: The dynamic Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) Analyst will support ICANN’s outreach efforts to encourage greater awareness and participation in ICANN. This role involves relationship building, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance ICANN’s regional engagement strategy and ensure alignment with ICANN’s Strategic Plan. Key Responsibilities & Duties: STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND RESEARCH Support relationship management and communication strategies with diverse stakeholder groups. Represent ICANN at external engagement activities, aligning with organizational objectives. Conduct research and analysis on regional developments affecting the Internet and ICANN. Monitor community participation, identify engagement gaps and trends, and draft papers in line with ICANN’s Strategic Plan. PROJECT MANAGEMENT & EVENT COORDINATION Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing regional stakeholder engagement initiatives, events, and meetings (virtual and in-person). Manage event logistics, sponsorship processing, and partnership administration. Maintain project documentation, track departmental tasks and deadlines, and provide timely updates to stakeholders. Draft reports, take meeting notes, and oversee communication and engagement tools for community projects. INTERNAL COORDINATION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION Collaborate effectively with the GSE team on day-to-day operations. Support the development and implementation of the Europe Regional Engagement Plan. Collaborate across teams and departments to align engagement efforts with ICANN’s mission and strategic goals. Assist in responding to stakeholder inquiries and other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders. Keen interest in and/or familiarity with ICANN, the Domain Name System (DNS), new technologies, Internet governance, and multi-stakeholder engagement. Strong research and analytical abilities. Proficiency in social media and digital platforms for stakeholder engagement. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures in an international, multi-stakeholder environment. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective scheduling management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new tools such as Salesforce and other stakeholder management platforms. Education and Experience Requirements : Bachelor’s degree required with 3 to 5 year of experience. Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Digital Policy, Public Policy, or a related field with 1-2 years of experience. Previous experience in stakeholder engagemennt, digital policy, intergovernmental or international organization: internship, volunteer work, or entry-level position. Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English and one additional European language is required. Additional language fluency will be highly advantageous, with strong preference for a fluent Russian speaker. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Work is performed in a normal office environment. Targeted Base Salary Low: $ 28,500 Targeted Base Salary High: $ 37,000
