Product Sourcing Specialist

Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 40,000-square meter Distribution Centre. This facility serves the North American, European, Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Anatolia aims to break new ground in Turkey and in the world with its up-to-date technology production facility, which started production in August 2023, with a closed area of 200,000 m². Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, is preferred. Experience in purchasing, sourcing, building materials, or a related field is preferred. Interest in building materials, products, and their technical characteristics. Willingness to learn and develop technical product knowledge. Good research, analytical, and comparison skills. Strong communication skills with suppliers and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Good written and spoken English. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel. Responsibilities: Support sourcing and purchasing activities for floor and wall covering products and related materials. Research new products, suppliers, and sourcing opportunities. Contact suppliers and collect information such as pricing, samples, product specifications, lead times, and commercial terms. Compare products and supplier offers from both commercial and basic technical perspectives. Learn and understand the main technical characteristics, applications, and differences between the products. Request and organize product samples, technical documents, test reports, and other relevant information. Support price and commercial term negotiations with suppliers. Follow up with suppliers regarding samples, orders, product development, quality, and delivery-related topics. Maintain and update product, supplier, and pricing information. Work closely with Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain, and other internal teams. Availability to travel as required for supplier, manufacturer, and factory visits, industry trade fairs, and other business-related activities.
