In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that delight our guests and uphold our commitment to exceptional dining experiences. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our restaurant operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in a lively hospitality setting while honing your culinary talents. We have 2 food and beverage outlets, you may be assigned to: The Café and/or The Rooftop Bar. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.50/hour - $25.00/hour. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques Expertise in various cooking methods such as grilling, braising, poaching, and general food production Excellent knife skills and proficiency operating kitchen equipment for efficient meal assembly Ability to follow recipes meticulously while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation Experience with dietary aide responsibilities, menu planning, and high-volume production processes Familiarity with culinary techniques including food industry best practices for quality control and safety management Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to take direction for Supervisor and/or Manager. Must have availability to work AM, PM shifts and weekends as needed. Must have valid work authorization.
