Description Software Engineer Specialist Description: Software Engineers research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. They may also perform the following duties: Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update or enhance existing software capabilities. Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements. Requirements Experience: 5 years of experience in software engineering. 3 year’s experience writing C # code. 1 year experience developing TAK I2I software enabling STANAG 4817 in the TAK plug in ecosystem over COT messaging. 2 year’s experience with MK 18 software products (Hydroid VIP, Neptune, and Coin Nexus). 1 year experience developing TAK WinTAK Plugins, TAK ATAK plugins, and TAK Server Plugins. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and/ or Information Technology. Location: San Diego, CA.
