# Partner Operations Manager, Health Systems

What we're looking for Aviary Health's mission is to empower everyone to live a long, full, and optimal life. We're redefining the future of heart and lung health through our Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR) and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs
• partnering with leading health systems to deliver technology-enabled cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs that integrate into their clinical workflows, EHRs, and billing operations. We're looking for a Partner Operations Manager, Health Systems to own a portfolio of health system partnerships end-to-end. This is not a traditional account management role. You will operate at the intersection of product, clinical operations, and partner relationships
• someone who can dig into a workflow in our platform, troubleshoot an insurance denial pattern, present to a hospital CMO, and coordinate a cross-functional standup all in the same week. Our ideal candidate has a product management, product operations, or implementation background in healthtech. You have direct experience working with health systems and understand the operational complexity of launching and scaling clinical programs inside hospital environments. You are technically fluent
• comfortable navigating EHR systems, workflow engines, and analytics dashboards. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy solving complex operational problems and can balance the strategic view with patient-level detail. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will serve as the operational quarterback for your partners
• coordinating across clinical, enrollment, insurance, product, and partner-facing workstreams to drive growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Partner Operations & Growth Own day-to-day operations for a portfolio of health system partnerships (academic medical centers, regional health networks, and hospital systems) Run recurring partner syncs; build and present QBR decks along side the account executive; manage partner escalations end-to-end Identify and execute on levers for census growth, referral volume, and enrollment conversion Coordinate with enrollment, clinical eligibility, and insurance teams to unblock patient flow Serve as the partner's internal voice
• escalating product gaps, surfacing billing issues, and driving accountability across internal teams Product & Platform Operations  Work fluently in the Aviary platform: manage patient workflows, troubleshoot issues, and configure partner-specific settings Understand EHR integration points (especially Epic): Identify automation opportunities and partner with Product/Engineering to scope solutions Use analytics dashboards to monitor partner health metrics (charges, census, referrals, enrollment funnel) Test and validate product changes with partner stakeholders before rollout Insurance & Billing Operations Triage patient and partner billing team inquiries Navigate payer-specific rules (DOS limits, PCP referral requirements, plan exclusions) to proactively navigate partner billing success Manage payer mix shifts across your partner portfolio and escalate emerging coverage risks (e.g., new MA plan exclusions, commercial carve-outs) Cross-Functional Coordination Facilitate cross-team meetings (clinical ops, product, enrollment, insurance) for your partner portfolio Own knowledge transfers and documentation for new workflows Your Past Experience Note: we consider applicants of all backgrounds. If you are excited about what we're building but don't meet some of the criteria below, please don't let that discourage you from applying! 3-5 years in product management, product operations, customer success, or implementation management at a healthtech or digital health company Direct experience working with health system partners Comfort navigating EHR systems and clinical workflows — ideally experience with Epic (or similar: Cerner, NextGen, Athena) Strong operational instincts: you creating programmatic workflows and processes, build SOPs, create tracking systems, and chase down root causes without being asked Ability to context-switch rapidly between a strategic partner conversation and a patient-level issue triage Excellent written communication — you'll draft partner-facing emails, internal escalations, and compliance documentation Excellent collaboration and time management skills Effective communication: direct, logical, succinct Experience meeting deadlines and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Exceptional analytical/technical skills Desire to improve the status quo Note: Strong preference for candidates based in NYC or the surrounding area and able commute in to our Tribeca-based office 2-3 days per week.
