Facility Maintenance

Overview Facility Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the Service Center to create a clean and presentable work atmosphere. Responsibilities Cleaning the dock, yard and office Sweeping and Emptying Trash cans Organizing Complete weekly & monthly inspection Communicate/coordinate with outside vendors to ensure quality and Dayton Freight Line’s standards are met Assist Service Center Manager in working with contractors on new construction projects Timely communicate any known defects of equipment to Operations Supervisor on duty Available for irregular work schedules and for altering work shifts and/or assignments Effectively interact and converse with customers and company personnel Lift and carry boxes without assistance Report all accidents and/or injuries immediately to Operations Supervisor on duty Work within all company safety requirements Complete other various tasks as instructed Qualifications 18 years of age Basic math skills Fluent in English Benefits Stable and growing organization Competitive weekly pay Professional, positive and people-centered work environment Modern facilities
