Staff Pharmacist – Long-Term Care Location: Arkansas Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday + Occasional Saturday Compensation: $58–$65/Hour + Benefits Position Overview Our client, a 24/7/365 closed-door long-term care pharmacy , is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support residents of skilled nursing, assisted living, and group home facilities throughout Arkansas. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for consistent scheduling, no on-call responsibilities, strong team support, and a balance of clinical and dispensing responsibilities . Another pharmacist is always on duty, providing a collaborative environment focused on medication safety and quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Accurately and efficiently dispense medications. Apply clinical pharmacy knowledge to support safe and effective resident care. Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and facility teams. Maintain high standards for medication safety, accuracy, and quality. Provide professional and compassionate service to residents and caregivers. Work collaboratively with another pharmacist who is always scheduled on duty. Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Schedule Monday–Friday with rotating weekly shifts: 10:30 AM–7:00 PM 11:30 AM–8:00 PM 1:30 PM–10:00 PM Approximately one Saturday every two months. No on-call responsibilities. Scheduled breaks and lunch. Qualifications Active Arkansas Pharmacist license in good standing. 1–2 years of pharmacist experience preferred. Sterile compounding experience is preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to medication safety and accuracy. Compassionate, patient-focused approach to pharmacy care. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Compensation & Benefits $58–$65 per hour. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k). Paid time off. Paid Arkansas Pharmacists Association membership.
