Role Description The Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX, responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing nonprofit clients for The Table Consulting’s services. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, and presenting tailored consulting solutions to small and grassroots organizations. The Sales Consultant will build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to service delivery. This role also involves monitoring client satisfaction, gathering feedback to improve offerings, and representing The Table Consulting at local events, meetings, and networking opportunities. The position requires a consultative approach to sales, with a focus on understanding client needs and aligning solutions that support their mission and growth. Qualifications Experience in sales, with a consultative, solutions-focused approach preferred, but not required. Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional written correspondence. Knowledge of or experience with nonprofits, social impact organizations, or mission-driven work is highly beneficial. Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, meet targets, and use CRM tools or similar systems. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic, growing organization. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred but not required. Comfort engaging in values-aligned conversations with faith-oriented leaders while maintaining an inclusive, respectful approach.
